Tackling Minds corporate fishing days offers companies a unique experience on some of the country’s most stunning fishing venues.
We will select the perfect location for you to interact with your most valued colleagues, clients and friends where they can unwind whilst experiencing the UK’s biggest participation sport.
A relaxing fun packed day beside the calming water in a beautiful environment is the perfect antidote to work.
What to expect
Experience the mindfulness and focus that makes angling the UK’s biggest participation sport. Catch a variety of freshwater fish, while relaxing and unwinding in stunning surroundings.
Your day will be hosted by the leading Mental Health and Wellbeing organisation in the country, Tackling Minds. The service on the day will be exemplary, with a team of friendly expert coaches on hand to look after your colleagues, clients and friends be they expert or novice, with tackle and bait provided.
Sit back, relax and enjoy a day’s fishing and let us do the catering.
Coffees, teas and refreshments are served throughout the day followed by a delicious lunch prepared by the water’s edge.
Event Day and Catering
The usual fishing day will run from 10am-4.30pm, with the option to discuss times that suit your organisation.
Fishing commences at 10am, we stop for lunch and refreshments at 12pm and continue fishing after lunch until 4.30p.
A choice of freshly prepared sandwiches and canapés with a selection of hot and cold beverages. Vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free available.
The Venue
We pride ourselves in hosting your day at a beautiful setting. All our venues have WC and car parking close on site. We will offer advice on a host of excellent hotels and B&B’s within easy reach of the fishing, plus train links, taxis and directions.
Although we host events throughout the year, the fishing season runs April to October, with the prime months being May, June and July.
Never Been Fishing?
We know from experience that the key to the day is how your colleagues, clients and friends are looked after and our coaches are second to none. Not everyone will be an expert angler, but our coaches are fully qualified Licensed Angling Coaches and will be ready to provide professional tuition for novices or anyone who requires help.
Premium fishing equipment is provided free of charge, and all fishing licenses and permits will be taken care of and supplied on the day.
Feeling Lucky
The presentation of a Tackling Minds Premium T-shirt and ‘Catch of the Day’ trophy for the winning Angler, and wooden spoon for those less fortunate (individually tailored gifts/prizes can be arranged).
Throughout the day, professional photographs will be taken that can be shared long after the event has ended.
